Franciacorta Lardo Aromatize (flavoured cured pork back fat) is trimmed and placed in containers alternated with layers of salt, herbs and spices including bay leaves, sage, rosemary, clovers, cinnamon, juniper and nutmeg.
The skilfully selected blend of herbs and the use of just the right amounts of salt and spices, together with the careful curing process and use of choice Italian pork, make this product unique.
Slices, which should be cut very fine, are white-pale pink in colour. The flavour is delicate and the fragrance spicy.
